Basketball

Well, I finally have time to post again for the first time in 15 days. So why not tell all five people reading this blog about what has been keeping me from posting at all? Basketball is going great. My team is 2-1 and probably should be 3-0. I've been playing decent and I am having an awesome time. My defense has really improved and so has rebounding. Now if only everyone would play hard all the time....... Oh well, just another thing to work on. In other news i got braces yesterday and can't really eat anything tough skinned right now, although it is getting better. Also, In my 5 days off of practice i get to see almost all of my family and hopefully my Uncle who is in Korea within the next month. I'll try to get another post in before Christmas, but no promises yet.

December to Remember

Thanksgiving was amazing! I got to see a bunch of my family, and have lots of great food coupled with even more fun. The upcoming month should be almost as fantastic. Basketball games start, snow, and Christmas are just a couple highlights. Actually, the snow already fell before thanksgiving and I finally got to go sledding today. Apple Cup is this weekend and I'm super excited to watch.

Turkey Day Greatness

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day!!! I'm extremely excited to see all my family. I'm in Portland for the next day and a half because of having to get back home before practice friday, which is ok, but I wish I could spend more time with them. Oh well. The next couple days should be full of food,family,football and weight gain.

Basketball Time.

I made the frosh team! This is going to be a great season. basketball everyday except sundays and 5 total over breaks. My first game is December 3rd and preactices have been fantastic. All of my good friends that tried out made the team. My posts may not come quite as often but the definatly will come.

Veterens Day.

Today is Veterans Day. I just want to say a thank you to everyone who served this country. Freedom is never free. Remember everyone who has died for us to stay free.
Thank a veteran today. They deserve it.

The Start of a Great Time

I'm pretty stoked for the 2010-11 basketball season. Tryouts are in 7 days!!! Practice almost everyday of the year will be amazing. Also confirmation is starting at church. I don't really know my mentor well yet, but surely will by the end of the class. School's going well. Quarter ended Friday and hopefully I'll be able to pull my 2  B+'s up to A's by Semester.

The basketball season starts in 17 days. I'm extremely pumped for tryouts on the 15th.  Ill probably make the team, but there are never guarantees. Oh well. This blog is almost to 100 views in a month, which is way faster then I expected. Pretty sweet deal there. Life has been pretty normal. Homework, hanging out with friends, and spending time with the family. Life is good.

Homecoming

Homecoming was awesome! I had an amazing time. The wait for pics kind of sucked, but other then that i really enjoyed it. Sadie Hawkins is coming up. I'm not sure if I'm going to get asked, but somewhat hopeful. My family is going to visit family this weekend so that will be lots of fun.

Spirit Week and My First Homecoming.

Spirit week is this week. I'm semi-excited. The only day I'll be doing is pink day. On Friday. The rest just take effort that I'm not willing to give on clothes. Friday's also the homecoming game and Pink-out. That is going to be AWESOME! As will Homecoming Dance itself. I bought tickets for my date and me today. Plan is to go to a friends for dinner and then hit the dance.  Dancing itself will be slightly weird because i am going with a good friend. Slow dancing will be extremely weird as I am tall and, just to be nice, she isn't. This week is going to be great.

The Experience Begins

The High School Experience has begun ladies and gentlemen. First, a little bit about what every teenager cares about the most. Themselves. I am a freshman in the great state of Washington. I love basketball and hanging out with my friends, who are the most awesome people ever. I pay attention to sports a lot, especially the WSU Cougars and like to watch ESPN or read SI (Sports Illustrated).  Therefore, you will see some sports related posts on this page, though i will post more stuff about High School and just the average teenage life in general. I hope you enjoy the blog.
